35 Week Update & Nursery Photos

I'm feeling quite huge these days, and beginning to realize I can't spend a whole lot of time on my feet before they start hurting & swelling.  Tuesdays & Thursdays are the worst because I have clinicals so by the time I get home my ankles look like sausages.  Heartburn is become a dear friend of mine.  The other night I had such a bad & sudden case, that even Tums didn't help.  I ended up sleeping sitting up as a last resort to relieve the pain, and fortunately for me it worked.  I'm finding it hard to sleep now-a-days as well.  I'm up every hour making trips to the bathroom, and finding a comfortable position is almost impossible.  To make up for it, I'm either sleeping in later, taking an afternoon nap, or sometimes both.  Nick has noticed that I've started snoring.  He said it isn't bad or loud, but he can tell when I actually am sleeping because of the noise.

Other than that I'm feeling fine & everything is still good.  I have a doctors appointment next Friday (March 4th) I'm hoping to talk my doctor into inducing me a little early or at least by my due date.  My last day of clinicals is March 31st, and my last Quarter starts April 13th.  With Noah's due date being April 2nd, I'm cutting it quite close, but I won't know until I talk to the Doc.  I'm hoping he'll be understanding of my situation.  Noah nor I have had any complications the entire pregnancy, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  This may sound a little selfish, but I'm determined to graduate on time (this August).

The nursery is finally beginning to look like a nursery.  I'm getting so excited!  We still need a lot of stuff, but we have our babyshower coming up on the 12th, and then hopefully, we'll still have a few weeks to get everything else & situated.

Me at 35 weeks
This is the outfit we've decided on to bring him home in.

The nursery furniture was given to us by Nick's sister, Sondra.  The crib was only used twice, since they put my Nephew in the bed with them, so the set is practically new.  The rocker is a little out of place, and doesn't match the bolder colors that I have chosen for the room, but we're working with it.
